
Sarah Shammoh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Drexel University. During her internship, she gained diverse experience across community nutrition settings such as WIC and Eat Right Philadelphia, foodservice at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), inpatient care at Pennsylvania Hospital, and outpatient care at a specialized diabetes center. At DDI, Sarah provides medical nutrition therapy and individualized education to support patients in managing diabetes and achieving their health goals. She is especially passionate about patient empowerment, sustainable behavior change, and culturally tailored nutrition care. Sarah aims to bridge communication gaps and deliver care that is evidence-based.
