Dr. Abdullah Al Qanaei is a distinguished medical professional specializing in Endocrinology and Diabetes. He currently serves as the Head of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Unit at Sabah Hospital, a position he has held since August 2021. His career began in Kuwait, where he worked as an Assistant Registrar in the Department of Medicine at Farwaniya Hospital from 2012 to 2015, following his internship at the same hospital from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Al Qanaei’s extensive training and clinical experience include a fellowship in Obesity and Pituitary Disease, as well as a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism, both completed at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada between 2018 and 2021. Prior to his fellowships, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UBC from 2015 to 2018.
