French Toast
Equipment
- 1 pan or skillet
- 1 bowl or deep dish
- 1 whisk
- 1 spatula
- 1 measuring spoons
- 1 measuring cups
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk skimmed, low fat
- 4 slices toast whole wheat
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 spray butter spray or any oil spray
Instructions
- In a deep bowl or dish, whisk together the egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon until well combined.1 egg, 1 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Place the pan or skillet over medium heat. To the pan or skillet, spray a small amount of butter spray or any other oil spray.1 spray butter spray or any oil spray
- Dip the toast slices into the batter and dredge well on both sides. Place on to the hot pan or skillet.4 slices toast
- Cook for about 2 minutes or until the edges become golden and crispy. Using a spatula, flip and cook on the other side.
- Add your favorite fruits as a garnish and enjoy!
