Yousef Ibrahim, Media Specialist at Dasman Diabetes Institute, will be joining Hala Kuwait on KTV2 this evening to discuss World Diabetes Day 2025 that’s taking place at the Avenues – Phase 2 on November the 13th and the upcoming 2nd International Dasman Diabetes Summit – IDDS 2026, taking place on January 8–10 at the Waldorf Astoria Kuwait.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
