The PG Cert/Dip/MSc in Diabetes Care and Education is a postgraduate programme of work-based study relevant to healthcare professionals working in Kuwait, in both the public and private sectors. These qualifications are presented and awarded by the University of Dundee. The University of Dundee in partnership with Dasman Diabetes Institute creates a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to study the most contemporary knowledge and practices in modern Diabetes Care and Education. Students choose a study pathway from four key areas: clinical provision, education, research and management. Understanding and use of newly implemented informatics is incorporated into all areas. Recently, the University of Dundee conducted recently more MsC modules on diabetes care and education at Dasman Diabetes Institute, which was founded by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). The face to face teaching sessions and modules took place in the Institute during the period 3rd October till 8th October 2015, with around 95 students attending and participating.
