Dasman Diabetes Institute in collaboration with Harvard University organized and held two-day seminar at the Institute titled “What is NEW in Medicine? A Perspective”, on 10th and 11th September 2013. The two days sessions and lectures aimed to enable those working in the field of Diabetes care and health to gain sound evidence-based knowledge of the clinical, education and organisational components of modern health care and self-development so that they can contribute effectively to implementing a high quality evidence-based clinical service. Attendees can strengthen their analytical, problem-solving and medical skills and thereby increase their professional effectiveness.

Many academics, healthcare professionals and interested people attended the seminar. Attendees were given certificates of attendance with CME credits.
