DDI signs an agreement with the Public Authority of Civil Information (PACI) today to mark a joint cooperation protocol for electronic signatures and KuwaitFinder application for GIS. The agreement was signed by Dr. Qais Al Duwairi, Director-General of DDI, and Mr. Musaed Al Assousi, Director-General of PACI.
In cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality and the Ministry of Planning, this GIS system aims to develop a healthy geographical system that enables DDI to identify several health indicators in Kuwait regarding diabetes and its various complications. This system will also provide many possibilities in the future to contribute to better decisions on health and identify research trends, as the field of geographic health systems is an important and vital area of global attention and development.
DDI aims to expand further in this area, where discussions are currently underway with international universities with experience and credibility in GIS.
