Dasman Diabetes Institute held a ceremony on Tuesday, 26th March 2013, to highlight its significant achievement of accreditation through Accreditation Canada International’s Qmentum International ™ program. Douglas George, Canada’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, presented the award to Dr. Kazem Behbehani, the Director General of Dasman Diabetes Institute, on behalf of Accreditation Canada International’s Executive Director, Client Relations, Conny Menger.

“It is rewarding to see that standards of excellence developed with Canadian expertise can help health care organizations in Kuwait demonstrate and improve health care quality and patient safety,” said Ambassador George. “Canadian values are deeply rooted in health care and our ability to share and learn from what is done abroad is of great significance.”
