Dasman Diabetes Institute in collaboration with Harvard School of Public Health organized a lecture titlted “Bisphenol A and Phthalates Among Pregnant Women in Kuwait”, by Dr. Mohammad AlSeaidan, MD, MPH, Harvard School of Public Health. The lecture took place at DDI on 22nd January, 2014.
The lecture was about analyzing the levels of Bisphenol A and Phthalate metabolites among pregnant women in Kuwait using a subsample of the TRACER pregnancy birth cohort. The results of this subsample analysis will help predict the exposure range in the full TRACER cohort. This presentation compares the subsample results to other international study results, and discusses predictors of exposure to these organic pollutants.
